We are pleased to announce the appointment of Alastair Shields as Queequeg Renewables’ Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Alastair brings more than 20 years of experience in lending, investing, and advising in various energy infrastructure financing markets. Before joining us, he spent over three years as Executive Director in Santander’s Structured Finance team in London, covering energy, infrastructure, TMT and real estate across the UK and Continental European markets, closing over €20bn of transactions along the way.
With a civil engineering background, he started his career in finance at EY. He furthered his experience in energy infrastructure as Director of the Power and Infrastructure Finance Group at Investec and later as Investment Director at John Laing.
